K-9 Concepts offers a seminar for patrol and narcotic detection dogs at it's training facility once a year. The dates for the 2008 seminar are February 8th thru February 17th. A team may attend either one or both phases.

Other instructors are brought in from across the country and from Europe. This provides for a good cross-section of training ideas.

Generally, each segment offers three days of instruction, lectures and training, with a competition at the end of each segment.

Narcotic and patrol certifications are also offered by an outside national organization. These are offered by the National Police Canine Association.
